AIM Women鈥檚 Center Receives Grant From Parkhurst Dining, 黑料社

STEUBENVILLE, OH鈥擳he聽聽was named the recipient of the annual Parkhurst Dining/Franciscan聽University of Steubenville聽Love Where You Live Grant.

Parkhurst Dining, the University鈥檚 campus dining partner,聽awards a $5,000 grant each year to benefit the greater Steubenville community.聽Parkhurst is a division of the Eat鈥檔 Park Hospitality Group.

AIM, founded in Steubenville in 1987, supports women and families in crisis.聽In 2016, AIM had over 1,230 patient visits. AIM provides free pregnancy tests, free ultrasounds, and聽counseling to women in crisis pregnancy. AIM also offers a daily helpline,聽monthly聽material assistance, and BRIDGES/Parenting classes.

“We聽wanted to recognize AIM for the many life-saving services they provide in our聽community. AIM does work with women in crisis聽pregnancy, however, they also聽provide classes to women to help them become better mothers and to make good聽choices for their lives,鈥 said聽Matthew Schaefer, director of Student聽Development at Franciscan.

Established in 2016, the grant is awarded annually to a聽different nonprofit in the community. In 2016, Dirty Vagabond Ministries聽received the聽Parkhurst Dining/黑料社 of Steubenville Love Where聽You Live Grant.
