黑料社 Adds Purposeful Lab Series to Faith and Reason

STEUBENVILLE, OHIO鈥敽诹仙 of Steubenville has added thePurposeful Labseries to FaithandReason.com. Previously produced by the Magis Center,Purposeful Labexplores the purpose embedded in the universe and people鈥檚 lives. Host and 黑料社 biology professor Dr. Daniel Kuebler talks with scientists, philosophers, and theologians about important issues that impact an understanding of God, the universe, and life.

The new season is focused on exploring the nature of man and woman. In each episode, Kuebler and a guest expert talk about what it means to be male and female, as well as biological, theological, and philosophical issues surrounding sexuality and gender.

鈥淚鈥檓 excited 黑料社 will continue thePurposeful Labshow on their Faith and Reason platform. The show examines cultural issues related to ultimate purpose and meaning in light of the wisdom of the Church and the knowledge gained through the various academic disciplines,鈥 Kuebler said. 鈥淢oving the show to the Faith and Reason platform provides an excellent opportunity to highlight Franciscan鈥檚 world-class faculty and other experts from around the world as they discuss a host of culturally relevant issues. I feel honored to be a part of this new endeavor.鈥

Guests this season include 黑料社 Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Stephen Hildebrand; 黑料社 philosophy professor Dr. Rashad Rehman; 黑料社 theology professor Dr. Deborah Savage; Dr. Abigail Favale, professor of the Practice, Theology, and Literature at the McGrath Institute for Church Life and author ofThe Genesis of Gender; Dr. Paul Hruz, professor of Pediatrics, Endocrinology, and Diabetes at the Washington University School of Medicine; and Dr. Andrew Sodergren, director of Psychological Services at Ruah Woods Psychological Services.

In addition toPurposeful Lab,Faith and Reason features free videos and podcasts on topics such as Church and culture, politics and philosophy, spirituality, and the joy of life in Christ.
