STEUBENVILLE, OHIO—������ of Steubenville unveiled enhancements to its Master’s in aimed at forming graduates to be ethical, effective, courageous business leaders and change agents. Enhancements include new courses in leadership, personal vocation, and an in-depth integration of Catholic social teaching into real-world business principles and best practices.

“There is an unprecedented level of confusion in contemporary society, and the business world is certainly not immune,” said , associate professor of business and director of Franciscan’s MBA Program. “Our enhanced MBA Program equips graduates with the knowledge and skills that professional success and transformational leadership require and does so in a moral framework that promotes their full flourishing as human beings.”

Students are challenged to identify and live out their unique gifts in all aspects of their business life: building and managing teams, developing talent, creating strategic plans and setting annual goals, developing and implementing marketing plans, preparing financial reports, budgets, and using data analytics to optimize growth and performance.

“The School of Professional Programs is committed to helping students learn about contemporary practices relevant to their chosen discipline, while grounding those practices and theories in the Catholic intellectual tradition that honors the dignity of every person and illuminates the marks of a good and just society,” said , dean of the School of Professional Programs. “The enhancements in the MBA Program are an excellent example of how our faculty put this commitment into practice in an ongoing and continuous way.”

Franciscan’s MBA courses are taught in eight-week sessions, starting in January, March, May, July, August, and October. The online instruction model gives students a high degree of flexibility, making it possible to engage with course content and complete assignments while also maintaining responsibilities professionally and personally.

The Franciscan MBA Program can be completed online in one year. Options include completing an essential MBA degree (30 credits); an MBA with a concentration in either finance, leadership, or marketing (36 credits); or an MBA with two concentrations (42 credits).
